Coatings Production Supervisor
at Jennifer Hobbs/Glass & Composites in Illinois

Primary Duties:
· Manage the production of coated product in accordance with ISO standards, and work to insure compliance at all times.
· Manages and maintains efficient production through process and equipment trouble-shooting, raw material storage change-out and operation of hot and cold end thickness/color monitors.
· Promotes the safety policies in the Coating department and Hot End.
· Performs special projects as assigned by the Coatings Manager or Production Management.
· Supervises the daily operations of hourly employees, assigns daily tasks, and authors shift process report to insure necessary process manning and pertinent information transfer to maintain expected production levels.
· Helps to train new departmental employees in job responsibilities and work rules, including reviewing safety, quality, and process procedures.
· Promotes Low-E department adherence to our client\'s policies related to safety, health, environment, and working conditions to insure maximum safety of employees and surrounding community.
· Maintain positive labor relations with hourly employees and resolves issues of contention, when possible.
· Demonstrate commitment to our client\'s Values and Principles in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree in Chemical engineering or Material Science
· Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
· Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts
· Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the developing, informative and results oriented competencies
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Superstar Qualifications:
Minimum of 2- years supervisory experience in a glassmaking facility.
Exposure to Six Sigma (Green Belt)
