at Marine Construction in Oregon

They pride themselves on staying on the leading bleeding edge of technology to produce both inland and ocean-going barges. This organization is backed by close to 100 years of experience in the marine trades industry. Their historical landmark facility sits on almost 60 acres and has over 800 foot long buildway. Located in an urban area of the Pacific Northwest, you will have access to one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Production Manager with proven experience in the marine construction or the structural steel industry. Qualified candidates will possess at least 8-12 years experience in marine construction with at least 5-7 years experience in management. A degree in a related field is required. P&L experience is also a must. MRP experience is preferred. Union experience will be looked highly upon. A successful candidate will be some one who understands the big picture. This person will have the chance to develop business with a collaborative CEO.
This position reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for upwards of 160 employees. The Production Manager is a member of the upper management team, responsible for strategic operations. This position oversees management of all areas of Production and directs activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule within quality, safety, and cost objectives.
