Our plant located in the beautiful Southwestern US is embarking on exciting new upgrades.
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager. Ideally seeking a candidate that offers previous union experience. Manages and administers all salaried and hourly employee benefit programs including insurance, 401K and various employee relations activities. Responsible for the hiring of all hourly and various salaried employees in accordance with approved company polices. Maintains and controls first aid materials throughout the plant. Manages and facilitates all plant health and safety programs, training, inspections, records and concerns. Responsible for overall plant security. Manages security guards. Maintains all records, prepares reports and assures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies. Maintains and assures compliance with the Corporate Policy Manual. Works closely with other managers to assure the highest degree of employee relations and efficiencies.
Human resource generalist background with minimum of five years. Must be skilled in Excel and Word computer programs. BS Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or closely related field, SPHR or PHR preferred.
