full time Corporate Project Engineer-Electrical

This is a Senior Level Engineering role with their Corporate office based out of their North American Headquarters in Ohio.

Corporate Project Electrical Engineer
Primary Duties:


· Responsible for specification and design of various control panels and for building services design and installation.

· Assist with supervision of the installation and commissioning of plant systems prior to project handover.

· Demonstrate proficiency in MV (medium voltage) distribution/power distribution design.

· Continually works with engineering staff at the plant and technical center level to improve existing designs that reduce manufacturing costs.

· Investigate and provide consultation and analysis to appropriate computer technologies and control systems, which can be implemented for process and machine control. Provide engineering expertise to program new or modify existing computer software to serve the purposes of cost reductions, process improvement, and mistake-proofing.

· Communicate effectively with local authorities on substation layouts and negotiate with utilities to resolve technical issues.

· Adhere to all applicable health and safety guidelines when performing job responsibilities.





Qualifications Required:

· University degree in Electrical Engineering/Control/Instrumentation discipline.

· Project Management skills.

· Previous manufacturing experience with emphasis on design and specification.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be willing to commit to extensive travel, including periods on project sites.
