Our client is a leader in their marketplace. We are actively seeking an Electrical/Process Engineer for their Ohio glass manufacturing operation. .
You will be given an opportunity to design and implement state of the art plant equipment or process methods within process, facility, and product engineering projects and provide technological leadership and management of equipment/process operations and maintenance. The incumbent is expected to stay abreast of technological advancements and evaluate the emerging technologies and communicate this knowledge within the department for the benefit of plant processes. The incumbent needs to utilize sound decision making and project management techniques with key emphasis on communication at all levels which may involve directing or coordinating the work of others. Must perform all job responsibilities with an active regard for established federal, state, and corporate safety and environmental standards, and with an increasing emphasis on pro-active design so as to meet plant environmental, safety, and health goals.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and Motion Control, Modicon PLC, System integrations, vision systems, and Intellusion Fix required along with strong skills in team leadership skills, organization and facilitation.
Successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a minimum of 5 years technical and project management experience.
Excellent communication skills with a track record of successful implementations are mandatory.
Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the United States.
