Market leading manufacturer of glass products and chemical coatings is seeking a Production Engineer with mechanical experience to oversee the warerooom aspects of production operations. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee operations and processes of glass packaging production line, ensuring maximum yields and speeds, with safety as a primary concern Develop, maintain, schedule, and implement both short- and long-term projects, resulting in increased production efficiency and reduced costs Conduct training sessions on all modified and new production equipment Utilize Sigma Logic, Lean Enterprise, and Value Focus processes in order to identify and maximize customer value and productivity.
Previous experience in glass manufacturing production, or glass packaging combined with a BSME or closely related engineering degree. Your resume should demonstrate a track reocrd of success. You must be a proven performer with an excellent attitude and strong communication skills. I need a take initiative self starter who know how to ask the right quesitons and get the people in the right places. Should be a terrific problem solver.
