Mechanical Design engineer
at Fred Eatman in North Carolina
An eastern North Carolina manufacturing plant has an opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Must have experience in the following areas --
Evaluating design ideas by assessing stress calculations soundness for design and manufacturability
Develop design concepts and drawings using CADD software and equipment. Create product specifications
Provide technical assistance to other employees, engineers and staff.
Some travel necessary
Technical qualifications:
BS Degree -- Mechanical or Design Engineering
Minimum of five (5) years experience with mechanical product design -
preferably in metal fabrication or the telecommunications industry.
Good expience with CAD - Pro-E, SolidWorks, etc
